Welcome Desk
A welcome desk is any informed point of contact or location where you can obtain information on the local network and its affiliates and offerings.
Welcome Desks exist in various forms throughout the network. The criteria for a welcome desk is that it is manned by a network member in some way at least 5 days a week. This means that the person is available to perform welcome duties: Sharing information on the network, directing peope towards resources on their innterests, and initiating contact with Guilds or Network Hosts on behalf of prospective network members.
