Socially-Perpetuated Self-Encagement

What To Leave Behind

Only when we know the truth can we begin to judge.

We do not judge those who do not agree with our ideas. If they have fully ingested them and taken issue, does the issue arise with Voluntaryism or some other minor philosophy associated with the Network? If it is the latter, we can still conduct commerce/. If it is the former, we do not feel safe conducting business.

Are they a boon to the network, or a threat? Where do they draw the line of where they will use or support the initiation of force against free and peaceful people.

Where do they draw their lines between what they will and will not permit to occur without interference.

Stop Playing?

Games are not bad. We are all playing, the point is to own your strategy and take hold of your decisions. We are playing the game we would have played back when we were gaming ourselves - or letting ourselves be gamed. It’s like inception - I was choosing to live in the nightmare and escape into the fun escape of the video game. Rather than making my life into the fun adventure that my life is - and then while on the adventure play the little games of men if it is desired.

What has failed in our own movement?

The world is full of people who want freedom, but we need to be helping each other more overtly. Too many people want to help others “get it” themselves and only give subtle messages. Things like that can actually serve to misdirect energy and attention away from what could be. Expecting them to get it through metaphors. Most anarchist media is lacking in actionable content. If there was not something actionable in what we wanted to do, it would not be so revolutionary. Pragmatism states that if there is any way to do something better, it should be worked towards.

Common Failings:

  • Vision Not Large Enough

  • Scared by probabilities

  • Waiting to do something

  • Relying on the next generation

  • Failing to seize the advantage

  • Self-perpetuated Stagnation

What has failed in the past?

The world is full of smart people, but we need to be helping each other more overtly. Too many people want to help others “get it” through subtle messages in media things that actually serve to misdirect energy and attention away from what could be. Expecting them to get it through metaphors. Most popularized media is lacking in actionable content. If there was not something actionable in what we wanted to do, it would not be so revolutionary. If there is a way to do things where people don’t get hurt as bad anymore, it should be done. It can be imagined that people would survive and do it in his way
