Twice a year, we attend the festival called Midfest. Midfest is a small gathering focused on trade and self-sufficiency. Most everyone at Midfest knows each other, and is from the Ozarks or neighboring areas of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri. The schedule is determined by those in attendance and varies year to year.
Midfest consists of a community of independent-minded individuals who recognize the state for what it is and support efforts to bring about a more free and prosperous way of living.
